1. Welcome to IJIM

Thank you for your interest in the International Journal of Innovative Medicine (IJIM). Our journal creates a global platform for researchers, clinicians, and healthcare professionals to share high-quality research and innovative developments in medical sciences.

We invite authors to submit original manuscripts that contribute to the understanding of medical problems, introduce innovative diagnostic or therapeutic methods, utilize artificial intelligence in healthcare, and bridge the gap between clinical practice and theoretical knowledge.

2. Why Publish with IJIM?

  • International Standards: We strictly follow the guidelines of ICMJE (International Committee of Medical Journal Editors) and COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics).

3. Manuscript Categories

IJIM accepts the following types of manuscripts. Please ensure your submission fits into one of these categories:

  • Original Research Articles: Reports of original clinical or experimental research. Must follow the IMRAD structure (Introduction, Methods, Results, and Discussion).

  • Reviews & Systematic Reviews: Comprehensive analyses of specific topics. Systematic reviews must follow PRISMA guidelines.

  • Case Reports: Descriptions of rare or interesting clinical cases that provide new insights. Should follow CARE guidelines.

  • Short Communications: Brief reports of preliminary but significant research findings that require rapid publication.

  • Letters to the Editor: Comments on recently published articles or opinions on current medical issues.

4. Pre-Submission Checklist

Before submitting your manuscript, please verify the following:

  • [ ] Originality: The work has not been published previously and is not under consideration by another journal.

  • [ ] Language: The manuscript is written in clear, grammatically correct English.

  • [ ] Anonymity: The "Main Manuscript" file must not contain any author names, affiliations, or identifying information (crucial for blind review).

  • [ ] Formatting: The text adheres to the rules specified in the [Author Guidelines] section (Word format, Vancouver citation style, etc.).

  • [ ] ORCID: All authors have obtained and listed their ORCID iDs.

  • [ ] Ethics & Consent: Necessary ethical committee approvals and informed consent statements are included in the manuscript.

  • [ ] Cover Letter: A cover letter addressing the Editor-in-Chief is prepared.

5. How to Submit?

IJIM uses an online submission system to facilitate the review process. Manuscripts submitted via email will not be accepted.

  • Step 1: Create an account or log in to the journal submission system.

  • Step 2: Click on "Make a New Submission".

  • Step 3: Upload your files in separate parts:

    • Title Page (containing author details, affiliations, and conflict of interest statement).

    • Main Manuscript (fully anonymized/blinded).

    • Supplementary Files (Copyright Agreement, Ethics Approval, Similarity Report, etc.).

  • Step 4: Enter the metadata (Title, Abstract, Keywords, Authors) into the system fields.

  • Step 5: Review and confirm your submission.

6. After Submission

Once you submit your manuscript, you can track its status via the online system.

  • Initial Check: The editorial office checks for compliance with guidelines, scope, and similarity (plagiarism check via Turnitin/iThenticate).

  • Peer Review: If appropriate, the manuscript is sent to at least two independent external reviewers.

  • Decision: You will receive a notification regarding the decision (Accept, Minor Revision, Major Revision, or Reject) via email along with reviewer comments.
